It was the middle of a drought, the grass was dry, and the hills looked a little weary—but the beauty of the property was undeniable. The real clincher? The creek winding its way through the land. In Jamie’s words: “We figured if it could still look this good in a drought, imagine it when the rains come!”
Since then, the farm has flourished into a lush backdrop where rustic charm meets natural elegance. Over the years, Jamie and Kylie have hosted family weddings and celebrations on the property, each one filled with laughter, love, and a touch of country magic. The feedback from friends and family was so glowing (and persistent!) that they decided it was selfish not to share. After all, if your farm is the kind of place that makes people ask, “Can I get married here too?”—well, that’s a sign.

We’re tucked away in the peaceful hinterland of Gilston on the Gold Coast, surrounded by rolling hills and a tranquil creek. Every corner is filled with character. It’s the perfect mix of countryside serenity and city convenience — only about 25 minutes from Broadbeach.
Colliston Farm is available for weddings, elopements, micro-weddings, celebrations and styled shoots. We’re a venue hire-only space — you bring your own creative vision and we’ll provide the backdrop. So, bring your florals, signage, props, you name it! Just no nails, staples, confetti or glitter, please.
Yes! You can bring your own food trucks, grazing tables, caterers, drinks and alcohol (with RSA-qualified staff serving). This gives you the freedom to tailor your celebration exactly how you want.
Your hire includes:
- Exclusive use of the farm and grounds for your event and photography
- Choice of ceremony settings – Pine Point, The Milking Shed, or Creekside
- Ceremony table and two chairs
- 2 x 3metre long teak tables
- Use of commercial fridge, cake stand, and grazing platter table
- Extended hire time for setup and pack-down flexibility
Additional props and styling items are available to hire.
Yes — a professional wedding planner or coordinator is required, when you have 50 or more guests, to ensure your day runs smoothly. We can recommend trusted local planners who know the property well.
